I have been in Leiden Observatory since 2023, working in Henk Hoekstra's group. I am a member of Euclid, Kilo-Degree Survey, and LSST. I received Young Researcher Award from the Korean Astronomical Society in 2019. I was awarded Junior Researcher Funding from the Korean Research Foundation from 2019 to 2022.
I grew up in Seoul, South Korea. I studied physics in POSTECH for my bachelor degree. I also studied economics, especially science policy for my master degree in Seoul National University. In 2016, I received my Ph.D. in University of Michigan under Dragan Huterer specialized in Cosmology and the large-scale structure. As a Rufus fellow, I worked at Yonsei University, Korea on weak lensing studies with the Deep Lens Survey (DLS). I was a senior fellow in German Center for Cosmological Lensing, based in Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
